Stuff To Share

You know, I’ve been looking through the rules the ACP Chat has, and it just seems that it just takes away the enjoyment of chat. Back when the chat was first around, there was only about six rules. Now, twelve? My gawd, and these rules are actually pretty pointless in many ways. Heres what I’ll do. I’ll make the list of rules the ACP has, and write most of the things that are wrong with them.

1. No cursing – No swearing on the chat, the flip emote and censored swears are also counted as swears

2. No innapropriate topics – This goes from anywhere to sexual topics to drug topics.

3. No Racism OR Sexism OR Ethnicism– No saying anything racist or sexist or ethnicist.

4. No spamming – Spam stands for Stupid pointless annoying messages, This means no saying things like “FJKWERKJWER” or smilies/audies over and over. YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED 3 MOVING SMILIES ON YOUR NAME.

5. No advertising – Do not come and advertise your chat or site, Youtube and photobucket links are fine.(This Rule Only Applies To Links On Main)

6. Don’t say things that you know will cause a fight. This rule includes: -Complaining about a battle during the battle (If you don’t agree with it then don’t participate. Complaining about it is not right) -Randomly insulting people even if their conversation topic does not relate to you.

7. No innapropriate doodles – Don’t put innapropriate images on the doodle

8. Don’t ask for personal info – Do not request to see pictures, phone-numbers, ect.

9. No cyber bullying – Don’t pick on people.

10. Do not mod unfairly – Only mod 1) Major ally leaders 2) Hand-picked mods over the mod line 3) CP army legends.

11. Don’t ask to be a mod or an owner – You won’t get it just by asking.

12. Don’t PC the owners – Please use their emails:

1. Wel yes, there shouldn’t be no MAJOR cursing on chat. But MINOR cursing should be fine. Its a xat chat. Why should xat smilies be banned from a chat that was created from xat? And besides, the flip emote only have four fingers, and the swear emote is just awesome.

2. Okay… thats mostly nailed down.

3. Good.

4. Yup…

5. I’m sorry, but then we can’t advertise the ACP website? Or the chat? We all have a website, and we would like to have people visit it. I suggest allowing advertising, but not bad links such as porn, RICKROLLS :angry: and those stupid tinyurls, .tk, etc.. fake websites (leads to bad things, suggest not to click).

6. Yeah, I see this happen everyday. This is because people don’t respect each other. Blah blah blah…

7. Like we use doodle? But yeah…

8. Like anyone wants to call you and talk about CP…

9. Yeah. No cybering OR bullying.

10. This rule is for Owners only. If owners can’t do their job, just don’t owner them. Same with mods.

11. Yeah…

12. Some/most don’t have e-mails. This might be since parents are afraid their childern might do bad stuff…

Yup. Okay, some rules are important in this, but they don’t exactly explain the whole idea. I’ll list my rules for chat.

1. No Bad Language: This includes sexual phrases, curse words, racisim, sexual topics, and things around that area.
2. No Political Topics: Nothing about the real world problems will be talked about on chat. This also includes Religious stuff.
3. No Flooding/Spamming: Don’t repeatidly say stuff…(you all know what this means).
4. Be Respectful: Don’t be annoying to others. This includes talking in caps, being rude, name calling, all the kindergarten stuff…
5. Don’t say things that you know or think will cause a fight.
6. Have Fun!

They arn’t so hard to follow, correct? Only six rules to follow, not twelve uneeded rules.

I also remember Modship being a privlage. Basically saying that it was something way more than just some regular mod.  They actually kept the chat undercontrol. There was a total of about 12. Not 46. Only 12. Now, you might be saying “But its not fair!” or “We all deserve it!”. Your wrong. It is fair because it lets the people who worked hard for it have it. Not some random people who think they are all everything. A moderators job is also about common sense, which basically no one has anymore. Same with ranks. These days, all the mods do is fight with each other, and just… become little brats. I’m sorry, but its true. To this day, most members behave better than the mods. Its that sad. Mods are supose to be rollmodels for members. I think I know why members act the way they are now…

Where Have The Times Gone?

Yeah, I know most of you will be thinking “What?” or “Everyones from late 2008, who cares” or something like that; but listen. From the begining of CP Warfare, and to the present day of CP Warfare, alot has change, expecially for the worste. From my entrence in CP (August 05) and my knowledge I still have, I will try to list the things that have changed to make CP Warfare turn.

Laziness: “When the going gets though, the tough gets going”. Do you see any activeness in Wars, Battles, Patrols, Meetings, etc? No. Most of everyone jsut hangs on chat thinking thats the way we role. No. We are armies in Club Penguin. Just like real Military Forces in the real world. Sure, its not the real world, but its still something people do to get stress off. Most of us just been hanging and not doing anything (like how America is the fattest country, and we arn’t doing anything to improve on that…) which is making us inactive, lazy, I can go on and on. Basically, what I’m trying to point out is that life won’t live itself, you have to live it. AKA The armies won’t lead itself, you have to lead it.

Xat Chats: You know, back in the day, way back in 2007, we never had “powers” or any of the fansy stuff xat has now. All xat was, was a chat with guests, members, mods, and owners. Nothing more. But sadly, we’ve been getting into a habbit of collecting these powers, and forgeting about why we made a chat. To communicate. But when you have all these powers, it gets to you, and you become a xat freak. Then you start wasting money, its pointless. I know. I’ve went through it. Basically, please remember the chat is for comunication at Battles/Wars/Meetings, not for some perverted talk session…

Disney: Yes. What used to be somewhat good has showned us that it was ment for children under the age of seven. They destroyed the good old CP. Believe it or not, CP Armies started to fall since Disney started to block all the army names such as ACP, UMA, RPF, and more. It also took down most of the great war areas, and made most of the greatest soldiers ever retire. I know, you might think I’m crazy, you might think I’m high on crack or soda, but I know my history. I’ve been here ever since Club Penguin started. I know. Disney has tried to make CP armies go away, which concluded to our laziness, but they think they won. What they don’t know is that we are still alive. We are on chat, if we can get on chat, why can’t we get on CP and fight? Show these Disney people what we are made of.

Yes, those are some of many reasons why CP warfare isn’t as strong and active as it used to be. I can’t blame you, times have moved on, but why does CP warfare have to? Why can’t it be the same? This is why I’m still here. I’d like to show you how it was, but ofcourse, everyone doesn’t want to listen to the Old Timers of Club Penguin. I came to CP with an appetite for war, and hell, I am not leaving until I’m full with it…
